On 10/17/2016, at approximately 6:22 pm, officers of the Johnson City Police Department arrested Justin B Cannon, 3813 Woodleaf Ln, Kingsport, TN, charged with aggravated assault. Officers were dispatched to an accident near the Food City parking lot on State of Franklin Rd. Officers made contact with the drivers of both vehicles and witnesses. The investigation revealed the suspect, Justin B Cannon, intentionally rammed a black Acura MDX as they were negotiating a curve. The passenger inside the vehicle that was struck is an acquaintance of the suspect. His bond was set at $25,000 with an arraignment set in Washington County General Sessions Court on 10/18/16, at 1:30 pm.
