On 6/17/16, at 3:45 a.m., officers with the Johnson City Police Department arrested Billy J. Gill (1801 Hwy. 91, Elizabethton, 32 years old) and charged him with 6 counts of auto burglary and 5 counts of theft.
On 6/10/16, officers responded to multiple reports of auto burglary that occurred along Lakeview Dr. and Oakland Ave. A description of the suspect was obtained and on 6/17/16, officers located the suspect on S. Broadway St.
On 6/17/16, Billy J. Gill was arrested and transported to the Washington County Detention Center, where he was held in lieu of a $65,000 bond. Arraignment was set for 10:30 a.m. on 6/17/16 in Washington County General Sessions Court.
