On 6/15/16 officers of the Johnson City Police Department arrested Cordevro Riley, 27 years old, 3180 Monroe Hwy, Watkinsville, GA, on charges of identity theft, driving under the influence, violation of implied consent, driving with no headlights, and driving without a driver’s license.
On 6/15/16, at approximately 2:30 a.m., officers conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle traveling on N. Roan St. for driving without illuminated headlights. When officers made contact with the driver of the vehicle, Cordevro Riley, he provided them with a friend’s identification in an attempt to conceal his identity. After investigation, officers were able to discover Mr. Riley’s true identity. Officers also determined that Mr. Riley appeared to be driving under the influence.
Mr. Riley was arrested for the above offenses and transported to the Washington County Detention Center where he is being held on a $2,000 bond. A preliminary hearing will be scheduled in Washington County General Sessions Court.
