On 05/07/16 at approximately 1913 hours, officers of the Johnson City Police Department responded to the area of 3211 Peoples Street in reference to three females acting suspiciously. The 911 caller stated the females possibly attempted to shoplift from another nearby business. Officers made contact with the caller and he identified the three women, one of which was identified as 45 yr old Frances Reaves, 130 Vault Hill, Greeneville TN. Upon conducting a records check of the three women it was discovered that Ms. Reaves was found to have an active arrest warrant out of Washington County, TN for failing to appear in court. Ms. Reaves was searched after being placed under arrest and officers found a baggie containing approximately 6.4g of a white rock-like substance that field tested positive for Cocaine, six (6) Buprenorphine pills, and three (3) Clonazepam pills. Ms. Reaves was unable to provide a prescription for the pills and was charged with felony possession of Schedule II drugs, simple possession of Schedule III drugs, and simple possession of Schedule IV drugs. The suspected Cocaine as well as the pills will be sent to TBI for testing. Ms. Reaves is currently being held at the Washington County Detention Center on $12,000 bond with an arraignment scheduled for 05/09/16, 1:30 p.m.
