On 7/21/13, officers of the Johnson City Police Department arrested William Jackson (Johnson City, 24 years old) and charged him with aggravated burglary and theft over $1000.00.
On 6/15/13, a report was taken of a residential burglary which occurred at an East Johnson City residence. During the burglary, a television set was stolen and the resident observed the suspects in the act of taking it. During the course of the subsequent investigation, Jackson was developed as a suspect and was positively identified by the victim.
Warrants were served on Jackson and he was placed under arrest and transported to the Washington County Detention Center, where he is being held in lieu of a $20,000.00 bond. Arraignment is set for 1:30 p.m. on 7/24/13 in Washington County General Sessions Court.
