PREPARED BY: | Ofc. Eric R. Hull #434 | APPROVED BY: | Capt. Matt Howell |
On 23 November 2015 around 1:30 AM, Officers of the Johnson City Police department charged 20 year-old Victoria M. Arnett of 826 Pardee Street, Johnson City, with Driving on a Revoked License, Criminal Impersonation, and two counts of Aggravated Assault. The charges stemmed from a routine traffic stop on Ms. Arnett who, it was soon discovered, had both a revoked driver’s license and several outstanding warrants for her arrest. Victoria Arnett identified herself with the personal information of a relative in an unsuccessful attempt to avoid these discoveries by police. She subsequently violently resisted arrest, assaulting two Johnson City Police officers in the process. Neither of the officers required medical treatment for their injuries. Victoria Arnett was booked into the Washington County Detention Center on these charges and on her outstanding arrest warrants. She was being held in lieu of a $12,000 bond and was scheduled to be arraigned on the afternoon of 23 November 2015 at 1:30 PM.
