On 11/14/15, officers of the Johnson City Police Department arrested Marissa Saylor (173 Timber Ridge Rd,
Jonesborough TN, 23 years old) and Elizabeth Feathers (173 Timber Ridge Rd,Jonesborough TN, 46 years old) and
charged them with Shoplifting over $500.
At approximately 12:56 p.m., officers responded to 2915 W Market St due two females shoplifting from Walmart.
Officers spoke with loss prevention employees who stated that Saylor and Feathers had placed $1175 worth of merchandise in
a shopping cart and pushed it passed the point of sale without paying for any of the items. Loss prevention advised officers that
Saylor and Feathers did go through a self-checkout line, but only purchased $45 worth of merchandise while they left the remaining
$1175 in the cart before exiting the store with all items.
Saylor and Feathers were placed under arrest and transported to the Washington County Detention Center, where they are each
being held in lieu of a $10,000 bond. Arraignment is set for 1:30p.m. on 11/16/15 in Washington County General Sessions Court.
