On 7/18/13, officers of the Johnson City Police Department arrested Thomas J. King (18212 Zane Whitson Rd., Erwin, TN. 37650 31 years old) charging him with Criminal Simulation over $1,000.00.
On 06/03/13, officers responded to 300 Sunset Dr., Peoples Community Bank, in reference to a fraudulent check. Upon arrival officers spoke with employees who stated that Thomas King deposited a check that after being processed was found to be issued on a nonexistent account and bank from Oklahoma.
King is charged with Criminal Simulation (over $1000.00) and is currently being held in the Washington County Detention Center in lieu of a $10,000.00 bond. Arraignment is set for Mr. King at 1:30 p.m. on 7/19/13 in Washington County General Sessions Court.
