On 10/29/15, the Johnson City Police Department arrested Elizabeth A. Trent (11 W. Valley Dr. Bristol, VA, w/f, 52 years old), and charged her with one count of Forgery over $60,000. The arrest is the result of an investigation into a report that was filed by the victim who stated that he had found that his name had been forged on a check which was made payable to Ms. Trent in the amount of $156,000.00. Ms. Trent is currently being held in the Washington County Detention Center in lieu of a $10,000 bond. Arraignment is scheduled in Washington County General Sessions Court on 10/30/15 at 10:30 a.m.
