On 07-17-13 officers of the Johnson City Police Department arrested Nathaniel Broadway (5727 Kingsport Highway Gray, TN., 25 years old, and charged him with theft of property over $1,000.00.
On 08-07-12 at approximately 10:00 p.m., officers with the Jonesborough Police Department made a traffic stop on a vehicle in their jurisdiction. After the occupants of the car gave officers consent to search, multiple items were located that were believed to have been stolen from Wal-Mart, 2915 W. Market St., Johnson City. Loss Prevention employees with Wal-Mart identified the property as coming from their store that was valued at $1,002.85. Nathaniel Broadway was one of the subjects involved in the theft. Warrants were placed on file for his arrest.
Police located Mr. Broadway and served the active warrant on him for theft of property over $1,000.00. He was transported to the Washington County Detention Center where he is being held in lieu of a $10,000.00 bond. Arraignment is set for 9:00 a.m. on 07-18-13 in Washington County General Sessions Court.
