On 10/28/15, at approximately 8:08 p.m., the Johnson City Police Department responded to Walgreens, 2240 N. Roan St., on an armed robbery. A description of a black male, 20’s, approximately 5’8, dark grey hoodie, grey sweat pants,. The suspect went over the pharmacy counter and displayed a weapon and demanded prescription drugs. The employees complied and the suspect fled the front entrance toward the intersection of Broyles Dr. and Princeton Rd.
The Johnson City Police Department, Criminal Investigation Division, is continuing to investigate prior robberies of Walgreens, 1430 S. Roan St. that occurred on 7/1/15, Walgreens at 5104 Bobby Hicks Hwy., Gray, that occurred on 9/8/15 and another robbery that occurred at Walgreens, 429 N. State of Franklin Rd., Johnson City, that occurred on 9/14/15.
