On 10/28/15, the Johnson City Police Department arrested Richard L. Owens (509 E Myrtle Ave, Johnson City, TN, 48 years old) and charged him with theft of property over $1,000.
On 10/8/15, officers reported that Owens rented furniture from Ashley Furniture Home Store on 07/02/15, but he has failed to pay for the furniture or return it. Owens had moved from the address that he provided Ashley Furniture and he did not tell them he had moved.
On 10/28/15, Richard L. Owens was arrested and transported to the Washington County Detention Center, where he is being held in lieu of a $10,000 bond. Arraignment is set for 1:30 p.m. on 10/29/15 in Washington County General Sessions Court.
