Felony Arrest

  On October the 18^th at approximately 1:49 p.m. Officers of the Johnson City Police Dept. responded to the area of East. 8^th Av. and Oak St. regarding a report of shots fired from a vehicle.  A Witness reported that a dark colored older model Crown Victoria with tinted windows was seen fleeing the area. It was described as an older model police vehicle. Within a few minutes a patrolman spotted a vehicle matching that description. A traffic stop was conducted and three subjects were detained. After a search of the vehicle a firearm was recovered, which had been reported stolen at an earlier date from Erwin. After a brief investigation, Justin Bates 20 yrs. Old, residing 4840 Basswood Dr. Chattanooga Tn. and Isiaha Milligan, 21yrs. old, residing at 4127 Vaughn Rd. Chattanooga Tn., were taken into custody. Bates and Milligan were charged with Reckless Endangerment with a Firearm, Simple possession of Marijuana, Possession of a Firearm and Possession of Stolen Property. Milligan was also charged with Driving on a Revoked Driver’s License.  Both were booked at the Washington County Detention Center, with an arrangement date of 10-19-2015 at 9:00 A.M. and with a bond pending.
