On 07/23/15, Officers of the Johnson City Police Department arrested William Robert Whaley of 705 Well Street, Elizabethton, TN 37643.
The arrest stems from an investigation into a reported trailer theft at A and P Auto, 3714 W Market St. The owner, Johnathan Forester stated that sometime between Tuesday night, 07/14/15 and Wednesday morning 07/15/15 someone stole a car trailer from the business. On 07/23/15, officers went to 3714 W. Market Street, Lot #4, Dale's Auto Repair and spoke with William Robert Whaley an employee of the business who admitted to taking the trailer.
William Robert Whaley is charged with Theft of Property over $1,000.00. He is currently being held in the Washington County Detention Facility on a $1,000.00 bond and is scheduled to appear in Washington County Session Court on 07/24/15 at 1:30 PM.
