On Monday, July 13, 2015 officers of the Johnson City Police Department arrested a juvenile female at
J C Penney’s in the Johnson City Mall, 2011 N. Roan St. and charged her with felony shoplifting. The arrest was a result of loss
prevention employees detaining the female with $922.85 worth of cosmetics in her possession after she
exited the store without making payment. The female was released with a court appearance being set in
Johnson City Juvenile Court at a future date.
