On July 03, 2015, at approximately 8:35 p.m., officers of the Johnson City Police Department responded to 406 Montgomery St., Apt 6, in reference to an assault. Upon arrival officers made contact with a 52 year old female bleeding from her head. The female and a witness reported that Frederick “Moses” Taylor, 70 years old, 406 Montgomery St, Apt 1, had been at her apartment when an argument ensued. Mr. Taylor reportedly used a cane to strike the female in the head causing a laceration. Officers located Mr. Taylor at his apartment and charged him with aggravated assault. The victim was transported to the Johnson City Medical Center Emergency Room where she was treated and released.
Mr. Taylor is currently being held in the Washington County Detention Center under a $10,000 bond. An arraignment has been scheduled for Mr. Taylor in Washington County General Sessions Court on July 06, 2015, at 1:30 p.m.
