On 6/18/2015 officers of the Johnson City Police Department arrested Derrick Smith, 45 years old, of 2 Mel Cir. #3, Johnson City, and David Caldwell, 21 years old, of 901 N. Barton St., Johnson City, on charges of aggravated domestic assault.
On 6/18/2015 at approximately 12:30 AM officers were dispatched to a domestic disturbance at 2 Mel Cir. #3. Both suspects advised officers that they were threatened by the other with a knife during an argument.
Mr. Smith and Mr. Caldwell were arrested and transported to the Washington County Detention Center where they are being held on a $3,000 bond. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for 6/18/2015 at 9:00 AM in Washington County Sessions Court.
