On 6/09/15, officers of the Johnson City Police Department arrested Crystal Hines-Frady (381 Possum Hollow Rd, Gray
TN, 31 years old) and charged her with Shoplifting over $500, Aggravated Criminal Trespassing, Simple Assault x2, and
Criminal Exposure x2.
At approximately 5:52 p.m., officers responded to 2915 W Market St due to a female shoplifting from Walmart.
Officers spoke with loss prevention employees who stated that once they made contact with Hines-Frady to tell her she
was being prosecuted for shoplifting she became violent and began to scratch and bite them to get away. The stolen items were
recovered and totaled an amount of $508 worth of merchandise, and it was discovered that Hines-Frady had been previously
trespassed from Walmart. The loss prevention employees who were injured were evaluated by medical staff at the scene for minor injuries.
Hines-Frady was placed under arrest and transported to the Washington County Detention Center, where she is being held
in lieu of a $10,000 bond. Arraignment is set for 1:30p.m. on 6/10/15 in Washington County General Sessions Court.
