On 6/8/15, officers of the Johnson City Police Department arrested Gary Barnett (116 Spring City Dr., 42 years old) and charged him with aggravated burglary and theft over $500.
On 4/19/15, the victim reported that his residence was burglarized. After looking through his apartment, the victim noted various items missing. Two witnesses were able to verify that Barnett had been in the apartment during the time of the burglary.
On 6/8/15, Barnett was placed under arrest and transported to the Washington County Detention Center, where he is being held in lieu of a $25,000 bond. Arraignment is set for 1:30 p.m. on 6/9/15 in Washington County General Sessions Court.
