On 4/19/15, officers of the Johnson City Police Department responded to a reported shoplifting incident that occurred at Belk, 2011 N. Roan St. Two individuals entered the business with laundry bags and proceeded to fill them with clothing, then immediately fled the store without paying for the merchandise. They are believed to be part of an organized retail theft group. They fled the scene in a Maroon Chevrolet Trailblazer.
The Johnson City Police Department’s Criminal Investigation Division continues to follow up on this case and seeks information regarding the incident.
