On 03/31/2015 at approximately 12:40am officers of the Johnson City Police Department arrested Nikki Skeen, a 39 year old female, of 434 Christians Bend Rd., Church Hill, TN. Officers observed a suspicious vehicle parked at 150 W State of Franklin Rd. Officers made contact with both the driver and the passenger. Officers were attempting to identify the passenger; she gave a name and date of birth that were not on file. She then gave a social security number that came back to a male subject. Ms. Skeen then told officers that if she could retrieve her purse that her identification was in her purse. Once she got her purse she stated that her identification was not in there, however, it was in the vehicle. Once at the vehicle, Ms. Skeen was still unable to produce identification. Officers told Ms. Skeen to stay with them. Once told to stay, Ms. Skeen slammed the driver side door, put the vehicle in reverse, backed up in the direction of an officer endangering their safety, and fled the scene. Officers were able to catch up with Ms. Skeen at Spring St//W Pine St. Ms. Skeen was arrested and charged with reckless endangerment, evading, criminal impersonation, and simple possession. Ms. Skeen is scheduled to appear in Washington County Sessions Court on 04/01/2015 at 1:30pm. Ms. Skeen is being held on a $22,000 bond.
