On 3/28/15 at approximately 0315 hours, Officers of the Johnson City Police Department responded to a fight at 2910 Bristol Hwy, New Beginnings. Upon arrival officers found that Zavier Harper, DOB 12/9/1992, of 409 Pennsylvania Ave, Bristol, TN, had choked his girlfriend and assaulted two witnesses in the parking lot. Mr. Harper resisted arrest as officers tried to take him into custody and assaulted two officers during the struggle. Mr. Harper was charged with aggravated domestic assault, four counts of simple assault, and resisting arrest. Mr. Harper was transported to the Washington County Detention Center where he is being held in lieu of a $15,000 bond with an arraignment set for 3/30/2015 at 1:30 pm in session’s court.
