On 02/5/15, Officers of the Johnson City Police Department arrested Brian H. Almany, 41 yr. old male, 8713 Reedy Creek Rd Bristol VA 24202.
The arrest stems from an investigation into a report on 02/03/2015, Johnson City police officer(s) responded to a report of Hindering Secured Creditors at Select Seven Credit Union, 333 E Main St. Upon arrival officers spoke with loan officer, Sherry Hilton who stated that suspect Brain Almany had obtained a loan from their institution in the amount of $5,668.00 to purchase a 2013 Kawasaki motorcycle on 06/24/14. Brian Almany was charged after the investigation revealed that Almany did not make payments on the motorcycle due to him selling it.
Brian Almany is charged with Hindering Secured Creditors over $1,000.00. He is currently being held in the Washington County Detention Facility on a $10,000.00 bond and is scheduled to appear in Washington County Session Court on 02/06/14 at 1:30 PM.
