On 1/9/15, Investigators of the Johnson City Police Department arrested Herbert Shasteen (2012 Leeland Rd., Lot 18, 39 years old) and charged him with aggravated burglary and theft of property under $500.
On 1/7/15, officers responded to 908 Pine Grove Rd. in reference to a burglary. The victim took a picture of the vehicle that was seen leaving the residence after the burglary. The suspect, Herbert Shasteen, was identified by a previous arrest driving the same vehicle. The victim was shown a photo lineup and identified Herbert Shasteen as the person he saw driving the truck.
On 1/9/15, Investigators served the warrant at the Washington County Detention Center where Shasteen was being held on previous charges and interviewed him. Shasteen admitted to being at the residence. He is being held in lieu of a $51,000 bond. Arraignment is set for 10:30 a.m. on 1/9/15 in Washington County General Sessions Court.
