On 1/6/15, Investigators of the Johnson City Police Department arrested Sheena N. Oxendine (922 Pine Ridge Circle Elizabethton, 33 years old) and charged her with identity theft, fraudulent use of a debit card under $500 and theft under $500.
The arrest comes as a result from an investigation into a debit card being fraudulently used on 12/10/14 to withdraw money from an ATM machine located at 1001 S. Roan St. Ms. Oxendine can be seen on surveillance video entering the convenience store where the ATM is located within, at the date and time the card was used. Ms. Oxendine later came to police headquarters; at which time, she confessed to committing the crime.
Ms. Oxendine was placed under arrest and transported to the Washington County Detention Center, where she is being held in lieu of an $11,000 bond. Arraignment is set for 1:45 p.m. on 1/7/14 in Washington County General Sessions Court.
