On 10/27/2014, officers of the Johnson City Police Department arrested Kimberly Dawn Malony (39 years old) of 1406 Skyline Dr. Apt 52, Johnson City and charged her with one count of Identity Theft and four counts of Fraudulent Use of a Debit Card under $500.00. The arrest is the result of an investigation into fraudulent credit card charges made on Malony’s former employer’s credit card. Through the course of an investigation, Malony was identified as the person who charged multiple utility payments with the victim’s stolen credit card information.
Malony was arrested at her residence and transported to the Washington County Detention Center where she is being held in lieu of a $14,000.00 bond. She is scheduled for arraignment in Washington County General Sessions Court on Tuesday, October 28, 2014 at 1:30 PM.
