On 10/13/2014, officers of the Johnson City Police Department arrested Ernest Johns, 34, who resides at 512 W Pine St Johnson City TN. The arrest is due to an investigation involving a suspicious male entering vehicles within the Johnson City downtown area. The defendant, which matched the description, was then located near Cherry St/Spring St with stolen property in his possession. The defendant has been charged with Auto Burglary and Public Intoxication. He is being held at the Washington County Detention Center on a $5,000.00 bond. He is scheduled to appear in General Sessions Court on Tuesday October 14th at 1:30pm.
