On 9/4/14, officers of the Johnson City Police Department arrest Jade Whitney Aukamp, (Johnson City, 26 years old) and charged her with aggravated burglary and theft over $500.
The arrest came as the result of an investigation into a burglary reported at a south Johnson City residence on 8/31/14. During that report, Aukamp was named as a possible suspect due to having been at the residence before and being an acquaintance for numerous years.
On 9/04/14, Aukamp was located near Tyler Apartments and was found to be in possession property stolen during the burglary. She was taken into custody and arrested and charged with aggravated burglary and theft over $500. Aukamp was transported to Washington County Detention Center where she is being held in lieu of a $21,000 bond. Aukamp is scheduled for arraignment in Washington County General Sessions Court on 9/5/14 at 9:00a.m.
