On 08/19/2014 officers of the Johnson City Police Department arrested Ricky C. Oliver, 34 years of age, of 155 Old Stoney Creek Road, Elizabethton, TN, on the charges of Felony Evading Arrest (by motor vehicle), Driving on a Revoked License, Financial Responsibility, Violation of Light Law, Improper Display of Registration, Illegal Turn, and three counts of Running a Stop Sign. Officers attempted a traffic stop on the Defendant’s vehicle for a light law violation and the vehicle fled at a high rate of speed. The Defendant was located a short while later on foot and the vehicle was found parked in an alleyway. The defendant was taken into custody and charged with the above listed offenses and transported to the Washington County Detention Center where he is being held on $2,000 bond and awaiting a court hearing on 08/19/2014 in Washington County General Sessions Court
