On 7/14/14, officers with the Johnson City Police Department arrested Matthew R. Harris (182 Telford School Rd., Telford TN., 27 years old) charging him with (2cts) aggravated assault and theft of property over $500.00.
On 6/23/14, loss prevention employees from K-Mart, 3019 Peoples St., Johnson City, TN., reported they had attempted to stop a subject after they observed him taking two pair of earrings from a display in the business. Harris is currently being held in the Washington County Detention Center in lieu of a $55,000.00 bond. A preliminary court date has been set in Washington County General Sessions Court at 9:00 a.m., on 7/15/14.
