On 06/30/14, Officers of the Johnson City Police Department arrested David M. Phillips 42 yr. old male, of 1736 Old Gray Station Rd, Johnson City, TN 37604.
The arrest stems from an investigation into a report that Phillips obtained a title loan from Tennessee Best Title Loans, 2111 N Roan St., Johnson City on 04/25/12 and had never made a payment since obtaining the loan and had taken the vehicle out-of-state to avoid it being repossessed.
David M. Phillips is charged with Hindering Secured Creditor(s). He is currently being held in the Washington County Detention Facility on a $5,000.00 bond and is scheduled to appear in Washington County Session Court on 07/09/14 at 1:30 PM
