On May 18, 2013, officers of the Johnson City Police Department arrested 40 year-old Fred Moody, 289 Highridge Rd, Johnson City, for burglarizing the TPI Industries building at 135 Wesley St. The arrest occurred after officers discovered Mr. Moody inside a building on the property tearing down and removing metal from the structure for scrap without the owner’s knowledge or consent. Fred Moody was charged with burglary and booked into the Washington County Detention Center. He is currently being held on a $10,000 bond. Mr. Moody is scheduled for arraignment in Washington County General Sessions Court on May 20, 2013.
