On 05/07/14, officers of the Johnson City Police Department arrested Marley M. Hopson (302 Princeton Rd, apt. 2, 20 years old) and charged her with Felony Vandalism.
At approximately 1:00 p.m., officers responded to 1800 Seminole Dr. apt 17 in reference to vandalism. Upon arrival officers observed several scratches on the victims vehicle totaling over $500 worth of damage. During the investigation Hopson was identified as the suspect. Officers made contact with Hopson who admitted to the vandalism due to her belief that the suspect and her boyfriend where sleeping with each other.
Hopson was placed under arrest and transported to the Washington County Detention Center, where she is being held in lieu of a $5,000 bond. Arraignment is set for 1:30 p.m. on 5/08/14 in Washington County General Session Court.
