On Thursday, 05-16-13, officers of the Johnson City Police Department arrested Ronald Kevin Watson (35), of Johnson City for 3 counts of Felony Aggravated Stalking. The arrest is the result of an investigation into a subject who was continually driving past three juvenile females while they were walking home. Watson followed the girls until they reached a residence in Johnson City, and then continued to drive past the house multiple times. The police were called after a parent of one of the girls confronted Watson over him following the girls as they tried to get home. Watson was reported to have left the area only to return several minutes later and continue to drive past the juvenile’s home. Officers located Watson a short distance from the juvenile’s home. Watson was found to be a sex offender and is on probation for sex related crimes. Watson is currently being held in the Washington County Detention Center on a $30,000.00 bond for the Stalking charges. He is also being held without bond for violating the terms of his probation. A preliminary court date has been set in Washington County General Sessions Court in Jonesborough on , Monday, 05-20-13, at 9:00 a.m.
