On 11/22/2020, officers of the Johnson City Police Department arrested Christopher T. Crum (1716 Orlando Dr, Johnson City, TN) and charged him with Aggravated Assault.
At approximately 11:17 pm, officers responded to the 11-E Motel in reference to a fight in progress. Upon arrival and after viewing hotel surveillance footage of the incident, it was determined that after a verbal altercation involving Crum, he aggressively proceeded toward a victim with a large knife raised in his hand causing the victim to quickly retreat in fear. No injuries were incurred as a result of the assault.
Mr. Crum is currently being held in the Washington County Detention Center in lieu of a $10,000 bond. His arraignment is set for 11/23/2020 at 1:30 p.m. in Washington County’s General Sessions Court.
