On 10/23/20, the Johnson City Police Department arrested Tenisha Hutcherson (1321 Catawba St Kingsport, 31 years old) and charged her with theft over $10,000.
The arrest came as a result of an investigation into Hutcherson selling a 2017 Dodge Ram truck that did not belong to her. The vehicle was sold to Johnson City Toyota in September 2019; during which time, the owner of the truck was incarcerated.
Hutcherson was placed under arrest and transported to the Washington County Detention Center, where she is being held in lieu of a $10,000 bond. Arraignment is set for 1:30 p.m. on 10/26/2020 in Washington County General Sessions Court.
