On 10/13/20, officers of the Johnson City Police Department arrested Ronald L. Arnold (141 E Market St, Johnson City, TN, 54 years old) and charged him with Aggravated Assault and Resisting Arrest.
At approximately 2:31 p.m. on 10/13/20, Officers observed Mr. Arnold with a metal chair in his hands verbally threatening the victim with assault.
The victim advised that Mr. Arnold made multiple threats to cause harm to her with the metal chair. While being placed under arrest Mr. Arnold became uncooperative and resisted arrest. Mr. Arnold was arrested and transported to the Washington County Detention Center, where he is being held in lieu of a $7,500 bond. Arraignment is set for 1:30 p.m. on 10/14/2020 in Washington county Sessions Court.
