On Wednesday, September 16, 2020 at approximately 6:00 a.m. Officers of the Johnson City Police Department responded to 1007 E Unaka Ave in reference to a shooting. Upon arrival, officers located a victim that suffered a gunshot wound to her shoulder. She was transported to a local hospital to be treated for non-life threatening injuries.
A person of interest has been identified and the Johnson City Police Department Criminal Investigation Division continues to investigate this case and seeks information regarding the incident.
