On 6/20/20, officers of the Johnson City Police Department arrested Sarah Watts (3211 Mayfield Dr., 35 years old) on charges of burglary.
On 6/20/20 at 3:20 p.m., officers responded to Walmart at 2915 W Market St. in reference to a shoplifter. Watts was found to be in possession of stolen items from Walmart concealed in her purse. An investigation revealed that Watts had been previously convicted of shoplifting from Walmart and was issued a trespass notice as well. Due to these facts Watts was placed under arrest for burglary.
Watts was placed under arrest and transported to the Washington County Detention Center, where she is being held in lieu of a $2,000 bond. Arraignment is set in Washington County Sessions Court set for 6/22/20 at 1:30 p.m.
