On 4/6/20, officers of the Johnson City Police Department arrested Bobby Thompson (52 years old, 120 W. Unaka Ave.) on charges related to a stolen motor vehicle.
On 4/6/20 at 6:18 p.m., officers responded to the area of 3518 W Market St., Johnson Inn, in reference to a stolen Chevy Cobalt being tracked to this location. Officers located Thompson, who was in possession of the stolen vehicle.
Thompson was arrested on a charge of possession of a stolen motor vehicle, and booked into Washington County Detention Center. He is being held in lieu of a $2,000 bond. Arraignment is set in Washington County Sessions Court on 6/7/20 at 1:30 p.m.
