On Saturday, January 11th, 2014, officers of the Johnson City Police Department arrested Mr. Christopher Allen Benton, m/w, 22 yoa, on charges of being a Fugitive from Justice from the state of Oklahoma. The arrest was the result of officers making contact with Mr. Benton in the area of W Watauga Ave and Wilson Ave. After a records check of Mr. Benton, officers found that he is currently wanted out of the state of Oklahoma on charges of Robbery, Embezzlement and Contributing to the Delinquency of a Minor. Mr. Benton was arrested and transported to the Washington County Detention Center where he is currently being held with a bond hearing set for Monday, January 13th, 2014, at 1:30 pm in Washington County General Sessions Court.
