On 01/8/14, Investigators of the Johnson City Police Department arrested Pauletta Putman Blankenship (183 Old State Route 34, Jonesborough, 46 years old) charging her with 6 counts of forgery, theft of property under $500 and theft of property over $500.
On 01/2/14, the victim reported that her ATM card was stolen while she was at the Johnson City Medical Center. Investigators found that several transactions were made at local businesses using the victim’s stolen card. Blankenship was observed on video surveillance using the card and signing the victim’s name.
On 01/08/14, Investigators located Blankenship and transported her to the Washington County Detention Center where she was being held in lieu of $12,000 bond. Arraignment is set for 1:30 p.m. on 01/9/14 in Washington County General Sessions Court.
