On 01/31/2020, the Johnson City Police Department arrested Patrick Ray (1202 Greenfield Dr. Johnson City TN, 18 years old) and charged him with three counts of Criminal Simulation, three counts of Forgery, one count of Theft of Property over $2,500.00, and one count of Theft of Property under $1,000.00.
The arrest comes as a result of an investigation into a counterfeit check being passed at Regions Bank (208 Sunset Dr). Ray arrived at Regions Bank and tried to cash a check in the amount of $800.00.
