On December 16, 2019, the Johnson City Police Department arrested Christopher Milhorn (35 yrs old, 161 Earl Ave. Elizabethton) and charged him with Auto Theft over $10,000.
The arrest stems from an investigation into the theft of a 2015 Kia Sedona van from Econo Lodge, 207 E. Mountcastle Dr, on July 12, 2019. The victim had been come in from out of town and met up with Mr. Milhorn, who was a childhood friend of his wife. Mr. Milhorn allegedly took the van after they fell asleep.
Mr. Milhorn is being held in the Washington County Detention Center in lieu of a $5,000 bond. He is scheduled for Arraignment in General Sessions Court on Tuesday December 17, 2019 at 10:00 am.
