On 10/14/19, officers of the Johnson City Police Department arrested Tammy L. Sluss (701 Plum Ave, Coeburn, VA, 44 years old) and charged her with being a fugitive from justice for a crime in another state.
At approximately 12:30 a.m., officers responded to check the welfare of two subjects on N Boone St. Officers made contact with two occupants in a vehicle parked on the street. One of the occupants was identified as Tammy Sluss. A computer check showed Sluss had a warrant out of Norton, Virginia for felony drug charges with confirmed extradition.
Sluss was taken into custody and transported to the Washington County Detention Center, where she is being held with no bond. Arraignment is set for 1:45 p.m. on 10/14/2019 in Washington County General Sessions Court.
