On 10/09/2019, officers of the Johnson City Police Department arrested Jemiah S. Joy and Diona S. Edwards, both 19 years of age. Jemiah S. Joy was charged with Felony Vandalism and Diona Edwards was charged with Aggravated Assault following an incident that occurred at Evergreen Terrace Apartments. An altercation had taken place between Edwards, Joy, and the victim where Joy had vandalized the victim’s vehicle. Edwards then struck the victim with her own vehicle as they were leaving the scene.
Joy and Edwards were arrested and transported to the Washington County Detention Center, Joy is currently being held on a $25,000 bond while Edwards is being held on a $50,000 bond. An arraignment is scheduled for 10/10/2019 in Washington County General Sessions Court.
