On 09/13/2019, officers of the Johnson City Police Department arrested Lisa Bridges (111 McCall Circle, Johnson City, TN 46 years old) and charged her with Shoplifting, Unlawful Drug Paraphernalia and Felony Possession of Schedule II drugs.
At approximately 10:22 a.m., officers were dispatched to 2915 W. Market St(Walmart) in reference to a female subject, in custody for shoplifting. When Officers arrived on scene the female suspect, identified as Lisa Bridges, was detained in the Loss Prevention Office. Upon speaking with Mrs. Bridges, it was determined that she placed items in a Walmart shopping bag, passed the point of sale without paying for them and placed them in her vehicle. She then returned and concealed some items on her person. She stated that she had more property belonging to Walmart in her vehicle. Upon consent to search her vehicle, officers found approximately 6 grams of Crack Cocaine and two glass pipes used for smoking crack. She was then transported to the Washington County Detention Center for the listed charges.
She is currently being held at the Washington County Detention Center in lieu of a $11,000 bond. Mrs. Bridges is due to appear in court for her arraignment at 1:30 p.m. on 09/15/2019 in Washington County General Sessions Court.
