On Sunday, December 15, 2013 officers of the Johnson City Police Department arrested Richard E. Aroney, 56, of 1705 Blountville Blvd. Apt B1, Blountville, TN and charged him with fifth offense DUI, sixth offense driving on a revoked license and violation of implied consent. The arrest was a result of a traffic stop on Princeton Road. Aroney was transported to the Washington County Detention Center where he is being held for a bond hearing and a preliminary hearing is set for Monday, December 16, 2013 at 1:45 pm.
