On Monday 7-8-20019, officers of the Johnson City Police Department arrested a juvenile, charging him with felony vandalism and criminal impersonation.
The juvenile’s charges came after he threw a large rock through a window at Jim's Motorcycle Shop, 1209 W. Market St., then fled the scene after being confronted by store employees. Officers apprehended the juvenile approximately 2 blocks from where the crime occurred. The juvenile initially provided officers with a false identity when approached, however officers recognized the juvenile from previous burglaries he had committed at the same business. The juvenile is being held in the Juvenile Detention Center without a bond and is set to appear in Washington County Juvenile Court on Tuesday 7-9-2019 to answer the charges.
