On 6/25/2019 officers of the Johnson City Police Department arrested Heath E. McKeehan (29 years old, 200 Joe Hale Dr. Johnson City, TN) and charged him with Aggravated Domestic Assault.
On 6/25/2019 at approximately 5:35 P.M., officers responded to the Kenjo Market at 1912 S. Roan Street in reference to a domestic disturbance. Upon arrival officers made contact with the victim who stated that Mr. McKeehan had physically assaulted her earlier in the day. The victim stated that she and Mr. McKeehan were in a verbal argument when he then placed her in choke hold making her unable to breathe. The victim was able to escape Mr. McKeehan but he told her that if she got law enforcement involved he would kill her.
Officers located Mr. McKeehan at 820 Dyer St. where he was placed under arrest. Mr. McKeehan was transported to the Washington County Detention Center where he is being held in lieu of a $25,000 bond. Arraignment is set for today at 1:30 P.M. in Washington County General Sessions Court.
